IIKI2015物联网国际会议在我校隆重举行

  2015年10月22日,由我校信息科学与技术学院主办的“2015年物联网国际会议-IIKI2015”在北京师范大学敬文讲堂隆重开幕。北京师范大学副校长周作宇教授、科技处副处长徐洪、信息学院院长姚力等多位院校领导出席开幕式。大会开幕式由大会主席、信息学院分党委书记别荣芳教授主持。

  周作宇副校长代表北师大做了热情洋溢的讲话,欢迎各位专家莅临北师大,并预祝大会圆满成功。富士通专家IAN THOMAS博士,美国乔治华盛顿大学XIUZHEN CHENG教授、英国布鲁奈尔PETER THOMAS教授在开幕式上分别致辞,欢迎国内外物联网领域相关研究人士参与此次会议并预祝大会取得圆满成功。来自美国、英国、斯洛文尼亚和中国等多个国家的近100位物联网领域专家和学者参加了此次会议,此外,参加本次大会的还包括近200名来自北师大、北邮、中国地质大学等驻京高校的学生。

  在22、23号两天的特邀主题报告中,富士通专家IAN THOMAS博士、美国DREXEL大学副校长M. BRAIN BLAKE教授、美国乔治华盛顿大学NAN ZHANG博士、北京大学张大庆教授、“国家杰出青年科学基金”获得者李克秋教授,分别做了精彩的专题报告。

  会议还安排研究论文专题报告和交流环节,主题包括知识工程、大数据与云计算、产业物联网、网络物理空间、移动机会网络、移动健康、无线网及移动网络安全、物联网中用户体验和物联网行业4.0标准等。研究学者的最新研究成果报告吸引了大量与会人员参与热烈讨论。会议录用的优秀论文将推荐至相关领域的著名国际期刊发表。

  IIKI是由我校发起的信息科学领域的第一个国际会议,截止到目前该会议已经连续举办了四届。本届大会收到投稿论文120余篇,经过严格的同行评审,共录用REGULAR文章30篇,SHORT文章30篇。会议论文的投稿和录用情况反映了IIKI国际会议正越来越多的受到国内外物联网领域专家学者的关注。会议相关信息请参见会议官网HTTP://BUSINESS.BNU.EDU.CN/IIKI2015.

  物联网作为一个新兴产业,掀起了继计算机、互联网之后的第三次信息产业浪潮,其技术设计信息技术的各个方面,应用广泛。目前,物联网的研究与发展已显示出强劲势头,对加快经济结构调整、推进城市信息化进程、带动经济发展具有重大意义。

快讯:2014年物联网国际会议(IIKI2014)在我校举行

10月17 -18日,由信息科学与技术学院主办的“2014年物联网国际研讨会(IIKI2014)”在新图书馆学术报告厅举行。副校长陈光巨,中国电子学会物联网专委会副秘书长王新霞,以及我校科学技术处、信息科学与技术学院的负责同志等出席开幕式。来自我国及英国、法国、西班牙和斯洛文尼亚等多个国家的知名专家学者60余人参加了会议。

开幕式上,陈光巨副校长、王新霞副秘书长、墨尔本大学Peter Thomas教授分别致辞,欢迎国内外物联网领域相关研究人士参加研讨会并预祝大会取得圆满成功。法国国家科研中心系统分析与架构实验室分布式与异构计算课题组负责人Didier El Baz教授、中国科学院自动化研究所张文生副总工程师分别作了关于物联网和高性能计算、演化计算和畸变扰动图像复原等的精彩报告,内容涉及物联网技术国内外最新研究进展、物联网分布式计算、物联网演化计算和物联网与大数据学科交叉方向等方面。下午,来自HES-SO的Antonio J. Jara教授和英国布鲁奈尔大学的Peter Thomas教授分别作了关于物联网背景下的可穿戴个人设备和信息时代个人与产品关系的专题报告。

会议还安排了五个论文专题研讨环节,主题包括知识工程、大数据与云计算,物联网中的普适服务系统、可穿戴计算与用户体验,无线移动网络安全与移动机会网络和网络物理空间的研究前沿与物联网相关标准等。

物联网国际研讨会迄今已经连续举办三届,得到业界的广泛认可。今年会议录用Regular文章29篇,录用率约24%,会议文集将由IEEE出版并被EI检索。此次会议提高了我校物联网相关学术研究的水平,促进了我国物联网高端人才的培养,为我国物联网学术研究与产业发展作出了积极的贡献。

快讯:乔治华盛顿大学成秀珍教授应邀来访并作学术报告

2014年7月11日至13日,美国乔治华盛顿大学成秀珍教授应我院邀请,在电子楼500会议室为我院硕士生进行了关于“认知无线电网络”的系列精彩报告。学院别荣芳老师、郭俊奇老师、王胜灵老师以及部分硕士生参加了报告会,并与成老师进行交流。
认知无线电技术能够跟踪频谱变化,并根据无线环境自适应地调整其工作参数,有效地提高频谱利用率,以解决无线通信网络中的频谱等资源越来越稀缺的问题。成秀珍老师报告了认知无线电网络中的协作式频谱感知和多跳中继的问题,介绍了博弈论在协作通信和资源管理中的应用。随后,成老师还就自己做研究过程中积累的经验与同学们进行了深入地交流。
本次报告不仅开阔了研究生的学术视野,也为我校开展该领域的研究起到了很好的引领作用,在场师生都受益匪浅。

成秀珍教授简介

成秀珍博士,1991年毕业于中国国防科技大学,获电子工程学士学位,2002年在美国明尼苏达大学获得计算机科学博士学位。2002年9月起在美国乔治华盛顿大学计算机科学学院任职,期间曾在美国国家科学基金委(NSF)兼职工作,自2008年9月-2013年8月被该大学聘任为终身副教授,2012年10月-2013年6月任副系主任,2013年9月起升为终身正教授。
成秀珍博士曾获得美国Career Award奖励,独立主持完成多项美国自然科学基金项目,在认知无线电网络、移动健康与安全、无线Ad Hoc和传感器网络、无线网状网络容量优化和调度、无线和移动传感器网络安全、普适计算隐私控制、Wi – Fi网络的安全、Ad hoc安全路由以及逼近算法设计与分析方面卓有成就,发表SCI期刊论文60余篇,加上会议论文和章节共计近200篇。目前是IEEE高级会员、ACM会员,任多家国际期刊编委。

姚润(Run Yao)

Run Yao is currently a graduate student at School of Artificial Intelligence of Beijing Normal University. Her current major is Computer Application Technology. Her major interests are game theory, blockchain.

IIKI2018 Successfully Held in Beijing Normal University

On October 20th, the International Conference on Identification, Information and Knowledge of IOT (IIKI2018), sponsored by the College of Information Science and Technology, and the Dragonsource Digital Media Group, opened at Beijing Normal University. Around 200 guests and experts from all over the world, including America, Great Britain, Australia, Slovenia, Pakistan, Japan and China, attended the opening ceremony chaired by Professor Rongfang Bie.

On behalf of the organizing committee, Professor Rongfang Bie from Beijing Normal University first made an enthusiastic welcome speech to all the international experts, then introduced the famous guests invited, the development history of the conference, the themes and papers accepted this year, and gave affirmation and blessing for the meeting.

Professor Peter Thomas from Great Britain, as the co-chair of the conference, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Professor Thomas introduced the development and application prospects of block chain technology, stressing the significance of this conference in promoting the exchange and cooperation of block chain technology. He looked forward to meeting the experts and scholars and hoped that the conference will continue as an outstanding communication platform for researchers in IOT.

Mr. Tang chao, Chairman&CEO of the Dragonsource Digital Media Group, Founder of Knowledge Block Chain Research Fund of Beijing Normal University, introduced the concept of the knowledge block chain and the idea for setting up the fund. The knowledge block chain can “fully benefit from the technology of the block chain and its “affirmation”, “tracking” and “incentive” mechanism to present the value of knowledge and return it to the creators, disseminators and even users of knowledge”. He said he was always proud of the humanistic spirit, tradition and academic research strength of Beijing Normal University. “Beijing Normal University will be the best school to integrate perfectly the humanistic spirit and science and technology.” He hoped to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with Beijing Normal University in all aspects in the future.

Professor Andrej Kos, vice-Chair of oversight committee of Agency for Communication Networks and Services of Slovenia, from Faculty of Electrical Engineering in University of Liubjana, as an international partner, introduced the international BNU-Ljubljana cooperation supported by China-Slovenia Scientific and Technological Cooperation Project and the Erasmus+Mobility program in the past few years, and expressed his willingness to expand student and teacher exchange and strengthen academic cooperation and exchanges with BNU in the future.

During the session of invited talks, experts highlighted developments in the field of IoT and Block Chain. They are: Editor-In-Chief for Knowledge-Based Systems (Elsevier) and the Associate Dean Research, Professor Jie Lu from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Executive Committee member of Cardiff University’s multi-disciplinary “Data Innovation” Research Institute, Dean of International Professor Omer Rana from the Physical Sciences and Engineering College of Cardiff University, Professor Ruidong Zhang from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

In the afternoon of the 20th Elsevier workshop, Professor Lu Jie described the methods and precautions for writing and publishing high-quality papers, shared her experience and had a heated discussion with the participants. Special presentations at the conference concerned block chains, knowledge engineering, big data and cloud computing, wireless network and mobile security, fog computing and internet of things services, frontiers of network physical systems, intellectual property rights and internet of things, mobile opportunity networks, etc. The latest research results were presented and the lively discussions attracted attention from a large number of participants. The conference proceedings will be published by IEEE, and approved to be EI indexed. Outstanding
papers will be recommended to the international SCI journals in related fields.

As a new industry, the internet of things has set off the  third wave of information industry after the computer and internet. Its technology design and information technology are widely used in all aspects. At present, the research and development of the internet of things has shown a strong momentum, which is of great significance to speed up the economic restructuring, promote the process of urban informatization and promote economic development.
